There was pandemonium yesterday after a speeding van ran into a tailoring shop in Umuahia, Abia state capital yesterday. Reports says that, the van said to belong to Penco Nigeria Limited, a company that specialises in distribution of drinks – lost control as a result of suspected brake failure and rammed into the shop, leaving not less than three people unconscious.
The victims were rushed to an undisclosed hospital in the area for treatment.
