Sad: Woman commits suicide after losing two children in Lagos building collapse

A mother of two who lost her children in the Wednesday March 13th building collapse in the Itafaji area of Lagos state, has reportedly committed suicide after she received news of the death of her children.
According to Sahara Reporters, the traumatized woman who gave birth to the two children, who were between the ages of six and four, through Caesarean Section (CS), is said to have bought a bottle of insecticide called ‘Sniper’ and drank all of it.
“Nobody knew what she wanted to do with the Sniper. But a few minutes later, we saw the bottle beside her where she was sleeping and we found out that she was already dead,” a neighbour, who preferred not to be named, said.
Sympathisers thronged their house to condole with the husband and family members.
Meanwhile, a mother, Yetunde, whose son was injured, has been too traumatised by the sight of the boy lying critically on the hospital bed, that she has not sat down for over nine hours.
She was seen moving from one corner of the Lagos Island General Hospital to the other in search of the prescribed drugs and other needs demanded by the doctors.
The boy survived the injuries and his two legs are in Plaster of Paris (POP).

Newborn baby girl born with Arabic inscriptions on her body in Sokoto (Photo)

Dailytrust reports that the girl, who is the fourth child of her parents, also has a crescent sign on her ankle. She was delivered at the Police Clinic along Barth Road Sokoto.
Her mom said among the peculiar things discovered on the girl is that she can’t have the earring hole on her ear lobe as after several attempt, the skin could not be pierced.
She was full of gratitude to Almighty Allah for giving her a baby with such inscription and expressed hope that it would make people to be closer to God and fear Him the more.
Alhaji Hussaini, the father who is a Mobile Police officer, said on receiving news of the baby, he was so full of anxiety that he could not even sleep on that day.
The Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar was amazed when the baby was taken to his Palace and expressed total submission to Allah for His wonders.
The royal father donated N100, 000, a ram, and 5 pieces of clothing materials to the family. He then urged the mother to take good care of the special baby

Mr Jollof pays school fees of girl who was chased out of school, set to change her school Who is now trending


Yesterday, a little girl was filmed ranting after she was chased from school for not paying school fees.
When asked why she wasn’t in school, the little girl revealed that she was sent home for not paying school fees. She then launched into a rant about how her school should have flogged her and let her stay in school, rather than chase her home.
She pointed out that it’s not as if she wouldn’t pay the fees eventually. She also added that if they had flogged her, they would be the ones to get tired.
Mr Jollof has now located her and paid for her school fees, also paying for a school bus to Pick her daily to and fro.
He also promised to change her school next term and enroll her in the best school in Delta state next term, and he also promised to take her as his child and Sponsor her from now onwards till she Graduates from any University of Her choice.
Sharing a video of himself with the girl, he wrote;
Success school fees is been settled for this term so she can write her examination. From next term she will resume in one of the best private school in Saplele. Whatever treatment my kids get, she will also get by the special grace of God. We went ahead to pay for school bus that will pick and drop success, no more trekking to school. Success now na BETTER STYLE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!! I will take care of her education from now till she graduate from University (She’s now my responsibility)

The big match: Barcelona vs Manchester United




.The first leg of the Champions League quarter final will be on Wednesday 10 April at Old Trafford at 9.00pm CET and the return leg on Tuesday 16 April at Camp Nou, also at 9.00pm CET

FC Barcelona now know their path to the final on June 1 in Madrid. Ernesto Valverde’s team will face Manchester United in the quarter finals with the first leg to come on Wednesday 10 April at Old Trafford at 9.00pm CET and the return leg on Tuesday 16 April at Camp Nou, also at 9.0pm CET. 
If Barça get through the tie against their Premier League opposition then they will face Liverpool or Porto in the semi finals with the first leg on 30 April/1 May and the second leg on 7/8 May.

Previous meetings between Barça and Manchester United

The tie will see the two giants of European football meet for the eighth time. The first ever clash came in the quarter finals  of the European Cup Winners’ Cup back in 1984. The English club prevailed on that occasion but on the three occasions that the team have met in the finals of European competition, the blaugranes have come out on top twice. In 2009 Barça claimed the Champions League title by beating Manchester United 2-0 in Rome and two seasons later they repeated the trick winning 3-1 at Wembley.
Of the current squads, two players have represented both clubs: Gerard Piquéspent three seasons at Manchester United between 2004 and 2008 whilst striker Alexis Sánchez spent three seasons with Barça between 2011 and 2014.

Photos of the Two Men who were Arrested For Impersonating EFCC Officials (Photos)






The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, has arrested Michael Friday Edenya and Adedayo Amzat, Managing Director, Zedcrest Capital Limited, for alleged offences bordering on impersonation and forgery.


The first suspect, Edenya, allegedly delivered forged letters purportedly originating from the EFCC’s Special Control Unit against Money Laundering, SCUML, to both Access Bank Plc and Coronation Merchant Bank Plc on Friday, August 15, 2018, requesting the account opening package and statement of account of one Rotimi Williams Monye as well as that of his company, Giltedege Partners and Advisory Services Limited.
Edenya, in his statement to the EFCC, stated that the letters were given to him by the second suspect, Amzat, to deliver on behalf of the Commission to the banks.
He further confessed that he posed as an employee of the Commission when he carried out the alleged criminal act at the respective bank.
However, the second suspect, Amzat, denied any knowledge of the said letters.
Investigation revealed that the forged letters bore the name Monye, a former employee of the second suspect, Amzat.
The suspects will soon be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
